A Merry Heart

Where is your joy? I gave it to you. You may ask how one can be joyful in such a world as this. Are you ready to hear? Do not say yes out of routine! You will say yes, but will you do what is instructed. It is simple. KEEP YOUR EYES ON JESUS! Fix your eyes on the finisher! He said it is finished! If you take your eyes off Him your heart will be sick with troubles. A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. Proverbs 17:22. Now, let us use the healing balm from the great Physician that our hearts may be full of joy. Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again, I say Rejoice. Philippians 4:4. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. Psalm 16:9. This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. John 16:24. This is out of the mouth of God. For this cause our eyes should be fixed on Him. Did you read what is written? What is written shall truly come to pass. Do you believe? Put the Word in your troubled heart that you may have fullness of joy. The Lord’s desire is that our joy be full. We do this by keeping our eyes on him who is the Word. See John 1:1. There is no possible way to be in Christ and not be full of joy. Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Psalm 16:11. We have been given a gift to have a merry heart. There is no sickness of heart in Christ Jesus. Have you received your gift?
