Be Kind

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. Ephesians 4:32. Do no evil for evil. See Romans 12:17. Be known for your kindness through deeds of love. Let your tongue be the law of kindness like the Proverbs 31 woman. See full verse Proverbs 31:26. The word of God tells us that God who is the Highest is kind to the unthankful and evil. See full verse Luke 6:35. Meditate on such truth. The very thing He does He is calling us to do likewise. We are called to not only be kind one to another but even to the evil. For us this is a hard thing to do, but He hasn’t instructed us to do anything He hasn’t given us the grace to do. His grace helps us to be kind, especially in difficult situation. As the elect of God, we are told to put on kindness. See full verse Colossians 3:12. Kindness is a part of our character if we are in Christ Jesus. For He comes from our Father God and God is kind. Jesus Christ is our perfect example to follow. There are many acts of kindness one can do. Something as simple as a hello greeting to your neighbor or helping meet a need. There are all sorts of needs around us for an opportunity to be kind. Kindness is an act of selflessness. You may say a kind word that encourage someone that is struggling and change the course of their day. Maybe someone may need a helping hand and your kindness blesses them. If we as the body of Christ are clothed in kindness we will always be ready to be kind and glorify our Father in heaven. If we say we are children of God let us do as He has spoken in his written word. It is written! That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:7. This we see is our Father God heart to be kind. Go and be likewise!
