Self Check

What is the first thing come to mind when you read the title of this blog? It means take an inventory of your heart. To successfully do this you must use the word of God. What have you learned this year, and have you applied it to your life? If you have applied the word of God to your life, YOU WILL SEE CHANGE. You cannot encounter the Word and not be changed. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17. There should be a new you. We all been given the same time, 365 days in a year. What did you do with the time given to you? Who life did you impact by your change of heart? There are many things we can improve on, but the greatest is love. The Word tells us to love God with all thy heart and second love thy neighbor as we love thyself. See full verses Mark 12:30-31. Did you love God well? Did you keep His commandments? If you love me, keep my commandments. John 14:15. Did you love your neighbor well? Without love we are nothing. See full verse 1 Corinthians 13:2. God is love; therefore, we must love. Love is the greatest above all. If you applied love to your walk and have loved your neighbor as thyself you have done well in the eyes of God. See James 2:8. Based off the written word of God, what is the condition of your heart. If there has been no change from the heart you got time to get it right. Invite Christ Jesus in your heart and read your Holy Bible. It will transform your life. If you see change from the heart praise the Lord for his grace to be transformed. For the Word is good! There is one day left in this year make the best of it. If He awakens you use the gift of another day to apply his Word that other may see your good works and glorify God in heaven. Peace be unto you in Jesus name.
