Money

What is your relationship with money? Do you have a healthy or unhealthy relationship with money? Does money rule over you or you rule over it? Does money add value to your life? Do you love money, or do you appreciate the gift of it? The word of God saidth the “love” of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:10. The greatest gift of all is Jesus Christ. God gave Him to the world. He owns everything. The earth is the Lord’s and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. Psalm 24:1. If you are a child of God, you are an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ Jesus. Therefore, you have access to all things in Him. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. James 1:17. No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Matthew 6:24. Who has your heart God or money? Naked we came in and naked we go out. (See Job1:21). Do not be deceived, the things of this world are temporary. This is not our home. Our life is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. (See full verse James 4:14). If we make money a god we have sinned against God. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23. It is God that giveth thee power to get wealth. (See full verse Deuteronomy 8:18). Has the very One that is the giver of good gifts become second to last in your heart? Don’t love the gift more than the giver of the gift. Without Him all we do is vanities. Be honest with yourself. Where is your heart? Repent if mammon has your heart! Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Exodus 20:3. The Word of God has spoken.
